Sunset Grill - Oshawa

I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I went there for breakfast. I ordered eggs, potatoes, and toast. The eggs were so undercooked that I could see the enzymes on them. There were hair in my potatoes and everything was cold. My boyfriend ordered the protein plus and it was also cold, tasted awful, and had hair in the potatoes. We didn't eat any of it. When we complained, all they offered was a 10% discount. We ended up having my meal comped. The service was terrible, we couldn't understand the staff and they never checked on us. Both my boyfriend and I felt sick and nauseous afterward. On the bright side, the water was good.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the dining area is very pleasant. One of the highlights of this location is the outdoor seating area, which adds to the cool atmosphere.

It appeared as though each employee was in their own world. They neglected to add the spices to my meal and instead brought out containers to season our food in front of us, which felt unprofessional. Each employee seemed eager to leave, despite us dining at 2 o'clock. The waitress had earphones in and seemed too distracted by her phone to take our orders. The restaurant also appeared to have low-quality hygiene standards.

Food was tasty but taste wasn’t consistent. The space could have utilized better for servers to see us better because at some point they thought we already ate.

Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the very extensive menu. Service and food were both excellent.
