St.Louis Bar and Grill - Oshawa

We are regulars here and have supported the site through the transition of owners. The wait staff is always very friendly and helpful and the food is good. Today we went and we wanted to sit on the patio and after we were seated, we were told that we needed to move inside because it might rain. We ended up going back home and ordering elsewhere and sitting on our deck as we wanted to be outdoors. Was disappointing, but not the end of the world.

I ordered a chicken wrap, but received a bun instead. The waitress claimed she was too busy to inform me that they were out of wraps. My husband requested more napkins for his wings, but they arrived late. The waitress was busy training another staff member and did not ask her to bring the napkins. The sweet potato fries were cold and the bun was burnt. Though it seemed pointless to complain, as customers we share our dining experiences with friends and family.

St. Louis is one of my favorite restaurants. We order food often.So I booked reservation for Father's Day (one day prior). Unfortunately they didn't put my name in their list.I said I planned for everything and I don't know why I have to wait and don't know for how long. I can tell OWNER took it personally when I said don't know where is the reservation and the way he attacked me verbally with his rudely, mannerless and unprofessional attitude made it look it's all my fault. Buddy you don't talk to people like that ,never mind customers. He talked to me like he did a favour to me.(BTW Manager said 15 min but my dad and I waited 35-40 min outside). He is a complete disrespectful, discourtice , impolite person. Wish I could never talked to him. I had no choice because all bars near me was packed and I just wanted to enjoy with father -son moment and have some drinks. My family, friends and I would never step into this place again.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! Our order arrived perfectly prepared and presented with elegance. One standout dish was the chicken parmesan, which was a personal favorite. The portion sizes were satisfying and the food quality was top-notch. The staff was also incredibly pleasant to interact with.

Food was awesome, went on Thursday appys were 1/2 price, GREAT DEAL! All food was hot excellent portion, quality value. Restaurant has good seating large outdoor patio. Service was excellent! Highly recommend this location!!!
