Food Village - Oshawa

Ordered the chicken tikka masala with naan.The curry was nicely spiced. One small drumette and a couple of other thigh pieces in the dish. Could have used some potatoes as it was slightly watery but it was filling all the same. Took home the curry and added potatoes the next day for lunch.Wife ordered chana masala and rice and loved it. A lot thicker than the tikka and also spiced well.They don't have mild dishes.Not sure if the naan is made in a tandoor on site it seemed too perfectly rounded like store-bought naan but they were huge!Only downside to the meal was the service. Very slow to attend to tables.Would definitely recommend.

We get takeout here about once a month, and quite enjoy it. The food always tastes a little different every time, and I mean that in the best sense as it's freshly made.The pakoras are occasionally dry, but otherwise the food is excellent.The only thing preventing the fifth star in my books is a tendency to get orders wrong or forget to include things. We order pickup, and I would say that there's something missing about a quarter or third of the time. They're very apologetic and nice about it, and they usually make it up somehow so I don't get too mad about it, but it is kind of annoying to have to drive back. If you can, check your order before bringing it home. Overall though, the food is worth the inconvenience.

...this time I ordered for pick up and I found the portions to be very small. Kebob was a bit overcooked and did not taste as fresh as last time I had it. Not sure if I will be back.

Just dined @ Food Village where I've been a few other times. Every time we come it's an excellent experience. Fast prompt, friendly service I think by the owner who was our server. You can really tell they're passionate about the food and service and checked on us several times asking if everything was well. Will continue to dine here regularly!

I ordered food online to be picked up at a certain time. When I got there they didn't know what I was talking about??? Call next time? Maybe, the food is really good and the prizes reasonable.
