Cosy's Diner - Oshawa

I'm not usually one to complain, but I ordered delivery through SkipTheDishes, and both of my hot roast beef dinners were excessively salted to the point that they were inedible. If I had been dining in, I definitely would have sent them back. On a positive note, the burger was good.

The restaurant has a charming vintage vibe reminiscent of the Elvis Presley era. Their Fish and Chips special on Thursdays and Fridays is quite good and reasonably priced, which keeps me coming back for more. As for dietary restrictions, they prepare the Fish and Chips in a halal manner, avoiding the beer batter that many other places use.

We visited Cody's Dinner in Oshawa for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is filled with nostalgic decor, featuring pictures, records, and various memorabilia from the 60s era. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of items on the menu. It has a charming, old-fashioned mom-and-pop vibe. They offer dedicated menus for kids and seniors, ensuring there's something for everyone, including non-meat options. Ordered this on door dash. Halibut fish and chips. So disappointing. That was not halibut. Tasted fishy and peculiar. Fries were frozen. $20+ piece of fish right in the garbage. Was only refunded $10 credits from door dash. Boo earns.

The food is delicious and the service is amazing, definitely would come back. I would recommend this place for sure!?
