I’ve been shopping at this supermarket since I moved to Japan about 4 years ago. I always thought they had a good selection of plant-based milk and soy meat. A few months ago, I learned that they accept customer requests. Since then, they’ve started selling vegan ice cream, mayonnaise, and butter all at my request. They also have soy yogurt and tempeh available at times. Request slips are available at the entrance. Hands down, my favorite “normal” supermarket in Osaka.
They sell soy milk and some vegan things like alpro. I have a vegan protein milk drink that was pretty nice. It's a big business, though with a lot of non vegan things so not very easy to find the vegan selection, especially if you don't read Japanese
Good selection of fatty soy milk, coffee is a delicious vegan butter and vegan Mayo here aswell, they have now begun to sell soy mint again!
As other have stated, this is a regular supermarket but carries a few vegan product lines. I went recently and they were still selling the soy ice cream (for about ¥200 from memory) as well as a few flavours of the coconut ice cream brand, cocofrio. Also had a few different soy milks as well. I didn’t go looking or the dairy-free butter, but as you would expect there are also other vegan friendly snacks and treats such as chips, chocolates and nuts.
