Takoyaki are grilled (Yaki) balls of mixed hearty dough with small pieces octopus (Tako). We found this restaurant in Dotonbori. When we were there in 2017, this place was quite crowded, so I hope they're still there. If you're spring onion like me, her takoyaki with a big bunch of spring onions and a wobbly onsen egg up, with Mayo is a must! Probably the best Takoyaki I've ever tasted. Hopefully these guys survive the pandemic
Oishii takoyaki is here. They say the sauce (and of course the takoyaki inggridients) does not contain any pig substance so hopefully the takoyaki is okay for Muslims. There are still pork menu here, but the takoyaki pan is not mixed with pork menu as I observed
The waiters are very nice. The food was good. I ordered Takoyaki, Oyster's Okonomiyaki and Crème Brûlée. Okonomiyaki is pretty thick, you're enough for 2 people.
We asked the staff about his half status. They just told us that the TAKOYAKI-Stock OUTSIDE does not serve pork, alcohol, Mirin and will. We also asked what sauce does not contain alcohol and they answered to choose BBQ sauce. So we got the Takeout Takoyaki menus for 8 and 15 pieces with BBQ sauce. Overall, the Takoyakis are moist and tasty. We can also taste the ginger that makes the taste colorful. Recommended for a mud-friendly Takoyaki in Dotonbori. Make sure that the queue can be very long.
So tasty, a long line means good food. We were treated so kindly and had amazing food. Very grateful to find this place.
