Cassinazza - Orsenigo

We went as a group and found this place to be amazing all round. Delicious food: from home-made pasta and risotto to vegetables and meats, everything was among the best we ever tried. Friendly staff which supported us in the choice of wine with our food. A complete experience!

The setting is lovely, spacious tables in a charming room. Clean and well laid out. The staff were attentive and first class. We had the menu for two at €32 each. Lovely smooth bottle of red. Starter was three meats, three cheeses and some salad/meat combination. Lovely. Second was a pasta dish, half was risotto and half was tagliatelle with a meat sauce. Very nice. Main course was pork roast slice, beef stewed, broccoli and sauté potatoes. All good. We then had a sorbet which was superb followed by a lemonchello. We rejected coffee as we were both totally full. It was out of our normal price range, but no regrets, great food, great staff.

Sono stato alla Cassinazza in molte occasioni, come pranzi di Natale o Pasqua, cene di Laurea e incontri informali. Ho provato sia i loro menu fissi che i piatti alla carta, e li ho sempre trovati molto soddisfacenti e curati, con un'attenzione particolare al territorio. L'agriturismo è immerso nel verde, con molti animali e spazi aperti, perfetto per trascorrere una giornata in famiglia. Il personale e i proprietari sono competenti, simpatici e molto professionali. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Splendida location, tutto perfettamente in ordine. Ho pranzato in famiglia con mia figlia di 2 anni e siamo rimasti entusiasti del posto, con animali liberi e giochi immersi nel verde. Abbiamo scelto il menu di lavoro e siamo rimasti soddisfatti con il piatto unico. Il personale è stato gentile, un saluto particolare al signore che ci ha servito con attenzione.

On arrival the ambience was lovely. There were people available to speak to right away and we were seated immediately. We asked for the tasting menu because we’d seen it previously and enjoy tasting lots of different dishes. Everything was very fresh and tasty. It was clear that the chefs knew how to celebrate the ingredients. The staff were wonderful and went above and beyond in their service including making sure we got home to Como. A really lovely, relaxing evening, what a meal out should be.
