Really wanted to like Coyote Cantina. Alas, not to be on February 10. Ordered the Howling Coyote margarita. The glass was stuffed full of ice and after a few sips, my ten dollar drink was gone. Ordered a Caesar salad with advertised home made croutons. The dressing was flavorful, salad quite small for the price and the very few croutons tasted store bought. The most disconcerting thing though was the squad of cheerleaders serving as waitresses. I get it... am born and raised Oroville where the homecoming queen reigns supreme. It was distracting to have the waitresses posing against counter tops and swishing their hair as they walked by. Was looking for a little sophistication to go with home town's attempt to enter a more upscale food scene. Giving two stars only because yelp routinely discards one star reviews.
It says alot about a business when the owner chips in to help clear tables. Checked on every patron. Food was great. Was very impressed with service
This place was great all around! We walked in after the kitchen was already shut down and the owner greeted us apologetically and went above and beyond to throw something together for us. They knocked it out of the park with great service, good atmosphere, tasty drinks, and delicious food! Definitely recommend checking this place out.
The vibe is great. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the place is very clean and they make perfect use of all the space. So far everything we have ordered food and drink wise has been great, the beans and salsa appetizer is amazing.
