Chenko’s Gastronomia - Orosi

Quite possibly the only restaurant in Orosí that for sure has vegan options. And they are actually good and fulfilling. And there are multiple of them! I wish I had had time to try more. Love that they have sushi with fried plantains in it for a fun Costa Rican twist. One of few places I’ve been to in Costa Rica that has anything with tofu. Note that the menu only specifically labels vegetarian options so you will have to ask which are vegan.

We stayed for multiple days in the city and kept going to Chenko’s because the food and the people were so amazing!

Wide variety of gastronomía. Appetizers. Burgers. Local fare. Sushi. Japanese dishes. Great prices. Super tasty.

An inconspicuous restaurant. despite the lack of English knowledge of the service, the service was top and very friendly. the food was rich and very tasty. the price was cheap.
