Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I hesitate to say that my recent experience at this restaurant wasn't its best. First off, the staff seemed rather indifferent, lacking the friendly and upbeat demeanor that I'm used to at most Cracker Barrel locations. I ordered my usual meal—a salad with grilled chicken and a baked potato. Unfortunately, the salad came in a much smaller bowl than usual, resulting in a smaller portion overall. Additionally, the ingredients didn't seem to be of the highest quality. When I mentioned to my server that the salad was noticeably smaller, he simply acknowledged it without offering any apology. I also brought it up to the cashier, who remarked that this was the case everywhere. Perhaps it was just an off day for everyone, and I hope things will be better next time.

The meal was typical Cracker Barrel. Plenty of food well done. No issue there. However my wife got the new Strawberry Mimosa. Gotta say... really? Check out the photo. I did ask the waitress, who was great by the way, if she'd tried it out. She didn't get the humor. Needless to say, we won't be getting another of those.

First of all iced tea usually comes with ice I mean it’s in. The name. It is usually customary to also drop off straws as well not have the customer have to go to kitchen to retrieve them. Also since when do you deliver a glass bottle of root beer to a 5 year old child with the bottle cap still on and it takes two waiters and a trip to the kitchen to get it off? We have not even received our food yet and I’m ready to run. Worst experience in a Cracker Barrel ever. Uggghhh see still no meals 30 minutes.

Value is lost here. Upcharges for switching from hashbrown casserole to just plain hashbrowns. Children’s breakfast does not come with drink. Small half pint of milk is an excessive $3. No biscuits delivered to table. Was told biscuit batter wasn’t unloaded from truck, yet one of our meals had a biscuit with it (Benedict). Pancakes were not cooked enough. Eggs were not over medium, had runny whites. Need to improve at this location. Bathroom always smells like urine. Two adults and a toddler, $57 after tip. Value lost.

We went right at opening; started our travelling reallllly early and this cracker barrel happened to be at a good break stop and good timing. The food took longer than expected with only a handful of people there. Maybe the cooks were still waking up? I dont know. But the food was pretty good when it did come out. I think the server was still waking up, too.. got our table snacks came seconds before main courses came out. Refills were slow. The coffee was pretty terrible is probably the only complaint.
