Contribuiți la feedbackWe booked this restaurant based on the reviews on here and we were not not disappointed. Sabine is a terrific host and even if you’re not a wine lover you’ll have a great meal. But as a WSET Level 3 Oenophile there’s a phrase on their website which really spoke to me “The main Actor remains the Wine. It is the « key » to discover our menu”. We chose to let Sabine decide our wines for each course and it was delightful to see her actually dance with excitement over some of her choices, which were reasonably priced by the way. All in all this was a magical night. Great food matched with superb and very interesting wines. If we’re ever back in Orleans we will visit Ver di Vin again.
If you wish to eat good product, drink great wines depending your budget) and know everything about the recipe and art to do it; it’s the place to go! Let me add that when you get in, the kitchen is at the same floor say hello to the cookers crew) and then you go one floor down to emerge in a large cave , old fashion, the one you can find in stones-houses, in the old city. Roof are unreachable and decor is like in a monastery. A team of girls is serving you. ´La patrone’ is knowledgeable and skillful’. Listen and follow her advices, particularly when she talks about accommodating food and wine. I recommend to have a glass of wine per dish to have the best experience. Then take the cafe at the bar when leaving. Cool! A place to go when you put your feet in Orléans. My wife and I went there as per our daughter recommendation. I am glad to have a kid with such good taste!! Ps: I recommend Orléans hotel , modern, clean and good breakfast!
Recently visited this restaurant with 8 friends on a motorcycle tour. Very friendly hostess, nothing too much trouble. Also gave advice on local attractions. Highly recommended
Atypical frame, vaulted stone, in the old town. We appreciated the kindness and attention of the staff and the chef, and there is a real signature in their dishes, a search for aesthetics and original flavors. We feel them passionate, so we welcome their creations with pleasure. Wine map rather supplied, with a good presentation. The map is however quite expensive.
Warm and attentive welcome. Good advice for wine, at perfect temperature. The frame is beautiful. A special mention for dessert. An original recipe for ice cream to fall. Small sweet mouth and refined dessert.
