Whenever someone asked me “Do you eat sushi?” My answer is always No. That was until I tried this place! I had the hot Philly and it was so delicious! I love that they have a variety some cooked some not cooked so I was able to get cooked sushi. I will definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends. Also, the service was good. We were able to be seated immediately and didn’t take long to take our orders either. So you know I had to visit again.
If you live in or around Hunters Creek and really want to impress your date, you can get Downtown Orlando or Winter Park-level atmosphere and quality without having to leave the area. The atmosphere is perfect: it feels very authentic and the interior design is very instagrammable. The quality of the fish and rice used in the sushi is better than other sushi restaurants in the area. For example, in my Orlando roll I got large chunks of high-grade tuna rather than minced tuna which is the norm. The unagi roll, as shown in the photo, has a generous portion of fish hanging off the roll. The rice was perfectly soft and chewy, rather than crunchy and heterogeneous as I’ve come to expect from sushi in the area. The hostess and waitress were both engaging and enthusiastic. As I waited for my takeaway order, the hostess Leticia spent time speaking to me about the restaurants history and explaining the name and theme. The waitress offered me a glass of water as I waited for my takeout. My wait was agreeable and in about 10 minutes I had my order. I was given chopsticks and plenty of condiments for my order. The spicy mayo was very egg yolk-forward, which isn’t to my taste but speaks to the quality of the ingredients they use. The rolls were average sized but the quality of the ingredients justifies the price. I would appreciate having a takeout menu to take home with me but understand that the restaurant emphasizes dine-in. They do have their full menu on grub hub and door dash I was told.Kid-friendliness: I saw a family arrive for dinner around 930pm with two young children. The menu might be a bit grownup for most kids but there’s simple rolls like California rolls for the kids. There’s a dedicated kid’s section if on the bottom of menu if you want to see what’s on offer before going.Parking: Right in front of the restaurant there’s 5 or 6 spots marked 30 minute parking for the takeout crowd and plenty of other spaces. It is a shared retail space so there may be some competition for spots.
Leticia is the best server, she is always so kind and amazing.I come here all the time for a Brazilian sushi and my gf is American and she loves it.I would totally recommend… definitely amazing
Had a great experience trying this place for the first time. We ate miso soup, salmon fritters, a specialty roll and temaki and everything was really good! I had an issue with my order and our waitress, Leticia (Lele) handled it so professionally and courteously. She really made the experience a 10/10. We will be back and definitely recommend!
