TGI FRIDAYS - Orlando Airport

Always a good experience here! I usually get chicken tenders and mashed potatoes, which are always delicious. And you can’t go to Fridays without having their mozzarella sticks, which are some of the best anywhere. This location has never steered me wrong and I’ll gladly return.

I placed an order over the phone and was asked to pay before receiving my food. While waiting, I noticed that the container they use for fresh ice was left open the entire 15 minutes I was there. Additionally, one of the servers poured what seemed to be a half-full used cup over the open ice container. This raised concerns about possible cross-contamination and cleanliness practices at the restaurant. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Service was fine, waitress was friendly. We had small children so they showed patience with them, causing a little chaos while we waited for food. Sign outside advertised a playground. This must be an old sign. There was no playground or play area. They did not know of one. They did direct us to another company outside called Kidiverse, which has nothing to do with TGI and you have to stay with the children. It’s a typical indoor play area. The food was not to our taste. The children’s chicken fingers were dry and hard. The whiskey burger was dripping with sauce, the bread was very soggy and you could squeeze out the juice. (Like I said, not to my liking). The rice bowl was ok, lacking flavour. The potato skins were very dry. Based on the food I don’t think I would return to a TGI’s to quickly.

Before we dropped my mother in law off at her hotel we decided to get dinner and we had the most attentive server we have had in years! Hunter was absolutely fantastic! It is a travesty that she is not at the corporate level teaching other servers how to be more like her. That is how it should be done everywhere every time!

Our waiter was kind, the food was exactly what you’d expect from a Fridays. However we left our baby’s bottle on the table and within 20min of leaving, when we called back they told us they threw it out… make sure not to leave anything by accident!
