Seana's Caribbean Soul Food - Orlando

Travel by charlotte, nc decided to stop here. I had proposed it from native over instagram. they didn't disappoint. the amount of food for the price is unreal compared to what it would get at a charlotte soulle food place. they were from a few things, but that's always a good thing for me. it lets me know that they don't attack a freeze cabinet with frozen goods. we had 2 commands of pfeifens. (one with collar and mac and the other with mac and yams). I personally had the yams, and they were. the fish was also freshly cooked and plentiful. did not expect so much. my son had the chicken alfredo. he loved it, although he said it was on the spicy side for him. (he hoped for a larger portion, but what child is not my wife ordered the jerk and yellow rice with mac and green. she started ordering a plate. great customer service, and we will definitely stop again.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Josh, and chef, Corey, along with Corey's lovely mother during my visit to this restaurant. I must say, the experience from start to finish was flawless, especially after chatting with these two talented individuals. Their energy and passion were truly inspiring, and the food I tried was of the highest quality. I can still taste the delicious flavors from Saturday's meal. Oh my goodness. This is hands down the best food I've had in this town in the seven years I've been here. I had to take a nap after eating the huge portions, they tasted so delicious and homey. The quality and quantity of the food has impressed me so much. The Queen Seana dish was sweeter than cake and took the flavors to a whole new level. Stop whatever you're doing and come try this place out! Picture this: a lunch portion with black rose pasta, large collard greens, and a big mac and cheese.

What a disappointing and subpar experience. We received overcooked fish that was clearly dried out from sitting for too long. Our order of curry chicken with lima beans and potato salad turned out to be a mess - with no lima beans in sight, and a strange gravy on the curry chicken that was just bizarre. And to top it off, why on earth would they put cold potato salad in a takeout box with hot food? This was a letdown, especially considering the many fantastic dining options Orlando has to offer.

Ordered from this place last night on Uber eats and completely disappointed in what I received. I got their wild) Grilled Garlic Butter Salmon, rice, 2 additional sides- $24.00 and the portion size was an absolute joke! Usually when I buy food Caribbean/Jamaican there is more than one serving, especially if it falls on the higher side of pricing, not at this place. The taste was underwhelming, not that it was bad but I didn’t taste $24.00 worth of food. The 2 things I appreciated truly was that the food was not overly salty and the plantains were sweet and fried well.I also got their -Morgan n' Hearts Pineapple Lemonade (L $5.00. No lemons nor pineapple were present in this drink, this was straight yellow sugar water. Cannot say I will be trying their food again on my dime!*photos show $24.00 portion size*
