Lac Viet Bistro (lac Viet Bistro)

This is another retrospective review of a restaurant that has closed. I loved this place, and although I must admit that it declined in quality towards the end, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

3 Star Update: The restaurant has undergone a change in ownership and the recipes or sourcing of ingredients has also changed. Unfortunately, I am disappointed that this is no longer my favorite place for pho. That's just my personal opinion.

I have had positive experiences at this restaurant in the past, but my most recent visit left me disappointed. Overall, the restaurant has a more American feel to it.

This restaurant has great food with many vegan options to choose from. I had the vegan duck with steamed vegetables and rice the appetizer was spring rolls with peanut sauce for diving. The price was fantastic only 10 dollars and the service was fast and professional the atmosphere was great and relaxing. Near Fashion Square Mall it has a great location I highly recommended this place. Cinco Estrellas 2 thumbs up

The menu offers a wide selection of South and North Vietnamese dishes. We had Gỏi Cu compensations (Summer Rolls-the name is swapped on their menu), Bún Bò Hu (spicy beef soup) and the LAGEc Việt Noodle (house special). The summer rolls were very good. The spicy beef was authentic and not as spicy as some of the other restaurants in Mills 50. The house special was just OK. Overall good food, more expensive than other neighboring Vietnamese restaurants.
