Hocca - Orlando

Place is nice, staff is ok but 1) terrible to find a spot to park your car; 2) if you ever got to eat the real Hocca Bar Mortadela sandwich in Brazil you will be totally disappointed with this one. Small, pricy and dry. The pork sandwich is also dry and not tasty. All very expensive $20. Good for one visit to make sure won't come back. 3 stars goes to the beer freezing cold. That's it.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The waitstaff were incredibly polite and friendly. The food was outstanding, and they offered wine caipirinha, which is not easy to find. I highly recommend this place!

We ordered three drinks—a shot on the rocks with lemon, a specialty cocktail, and a sangria—along with two empanadas. While we were waiting, we decided to add the mignon capitury and the classic Camarao to our order to share. We received only two of our drinks and the empanadas. The empanadas were decent, and two of the drinks were good, but the issue was that we waited for 40 minutes and never received the third drink. Despite trying to grab the staff's attention for 30 minutes, our server eventually just asked if we were ready to order again. Frustrated, we chose to get the check and leave instead. I was really looking forward to enjoying authentic Brazilian cuisine today, but unfortunately, this establishment seemed indifferent to the needs of all its guests. The manager, bartender, or owner (not sure who he was) walked by after I paid and I left a one-star review. He then looked back to ask if we needed anything. I'm not sure why he waited so long to check on us, as it felt like an afterthought, and it was evident he was primarily focused on the two VIPs at the front table. I wish I had checked the reviews before choosing this place. It seems that every negative review receives a response from the owner that either makes excuses for the poor service or attempts to discredit the reviewer. That alone raises red flags for me. It's truly a shame. This place has so much potential, but the management really falls short. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Carinas instead; the staff there is attentive and personable.

Best place to eat authentic Brazilian food. If you want to surprise someone who doesn't know this type of cuisine, this is the right place. Great service and excellent food quality made by the renowned chef Horacio Gabriel!
