Hanamizuki Japanese - Orlando

This traditional Japanese restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. I appreciate that they focus on classic recipes without attempting to fuse different styles. The cooked dishes are particularly well-prepared, although some of the sushi lacked freshness. My favorites included the nabeyaki udon, chawanmushi, tamago nigiri, eel nigiri, and tuna nigiri. The prices were quite reasonable, and the service was friendly. The only unusual aspect was their preference for customers to call ahead to make reservations, even when the restaurant isn't full.

This Japanese restaurant really blew me away. Even though it's located in the tourist area of ICON Park on International Drive, it feels very authentic. The sushi quality was outstanding! They had Ootoro, fresh uni, and a variety of Mentaiko options that I absolutely loved. They also offered Onigiri, which is quite hard to find in Orlando. They have delicious hubs and Sukiyaki as well. I can't even describe how good the steak is! We ordered hot green tea, and they kept refilling it without us asking—how great is that? The staff was incredibly friendly, and they even provided small bowls and utensils for children. I can't wait to return!

The atmosphere was clean and very green and slightly outdated. But the food was amazing, had this for dinner and had to reserve lunch for the next day. Recommend this place for Japanese food lovers.

Hanamizuki is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. With such a large selection, out, my personal favorites are the yakimeshi fried rice (only 5 dollars per order). My table also got the sukiyaki hotpot, which can be divided between two or more people. The hotpot comes with beef and a vegetable assortment that is cooked before you, and for just a few extra bucks you can add udon noodles also like me. I have never been disappointed by Hanamizuki and they will continue to get my business as long as they are open!

I checked out Hanamizuki and it was amazing! The sushi was so fresh, and it was just as delicious as I had it in Japan. The food served at this restaurant is authentic. In fact, we loved it so much that we went twice! High quality food at a great location, along with wonderful service. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I visit Orlando.
