Calypso Grill - Orlando

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. OpenTable gave it a 4.7 rating, which left me wondering if that was a mistake. I ordered the chicken beaucens, and each taco had only about two tablespoons of crushed meat served on a cold flour tortilla. One member of our party requested bread or crackers to go with the shrimp cocktail, only to be informed that they weren’t available. We noticed something on the menu that included Texas toast and asked for that instead. The shrimp scampi was nothing to write home about either. I definitely won’t be recommending this place!

Calypso offers fantastic dining and outstanding service, making it a wonderful spot for gathering with friends. The atmosphere resembles that of a lively sports bar, yet the food exceeds typical bar fare. Don’t miss the ossobuco special on Wednesday nights—it’s truly a highlight. Whether you’re a local or traveling from afar, this is the perfect place to relax and feel at home.

Great food as always but pricy . The piece of fish I got was not cut well . I sent it back and got a much nicer piece of grouper. Waitress was pleasant but didn’t have much of a clue .
