Bartaco - Orlando

The venue had a really great vibe. However, the only way to order and pay was through their online app, which was quite cumbersome. Unfortunately, we couldn't combine orders from multiple phones onto a single check as advertised, so we had to pass one phone around to place our orders. You could order multiple items, and they would simply be added to your final bill. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic and promptly corrected the several mixed drink errors we encountered. As for the food, it was just average, but the prices were very reasonable.

The menu and ordering system using a QR code on your phone is quite innovative and exciting! The food customization options were extensive, and the bar manager, Manny, was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about the offerings. I really enjoyed the mushroom rice bowl, but the falafel tacos were the highlight for our table! I only wish I lived closer so I could return and try the 'secret' tacos.

There was no sauce accompanying the oysters. The Baja fish was minced. The oysters were fried, but the oil wasn’t properly drained.

The food is delicious, but we were hoping for full-sized portions of the birria instead of snack-sized ones. The flavor, however, was outstanding!

I ordered three four-packs of tacos. They were pretty good, but as others have mentioned, they were a bit small for the price. We were missing four tortillas, and the tajín pineapple I got didn’t have any tajín on it at all. Additionally, there was no straw in my drink bag, and I didn't receive any utensils for eating. On a positive note, the plantains were excellent, and the esquites (corn off the cob) were tasty as well.
