Yucca - Orland Park

Service was very attentive and food quickly came to order. Wasn't very crowded when we dined so that could have been a factor. Loved the Godzilla role, and Koch has our demand for substitutions (cubber instead of avocado).

That was our first visit to yucca. we were a party of 4 and we all loved our eating absolutely. all of the soup(Mushroom) and appetizers (edaname and crab ragoon,) to our sushi roles we were all so excited and satisfied. the prices were very reasonable. I need to order gluten-free and that was one of the reasons why I don't be able to enjoy sushi for awhile. yucca has a dedicated Gf menu that was very extensive. I was very, very satisfied. my party also loved her eating. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone in the southern suburbs.

With all the restaurants that pop up, including grocery stores offering sushi, it is nice to go to a restaurant that knows how to prepare and serve fresh, tasty and eye-catching sushi, you need to try Yucca. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is refreshing. You have to try

Wine map is terrible if you are a regular wine drinker!

First time visit. I was hesitant before entering the storefront doors, as they were covered with laminated specials like they have at every Nicky's I've seen; I half expected to see a three hotdogs/french fry combo for $3.99 posted among them. However, the actual restaurant is nicely decorated with dark, modern touches, and there are lots of booths in which to be seated. We ordered seared tuna and shrimp tempura w/vegetables for appetizers; the tuna was the most tender and tasty that I've had. It was incredibly tender--wow! Excellent tempura, especially the vegetables which included sweet potato and broccoli. Nicole, our sweet waitress, recommended a tuna roll with cilantro and jalepeno (as we wanted something spicy). It, too, was very unique and flavorful, but would have liked something a bit hotter (next time). The only thing I'd like to see change was the dull smooth jazz being played. Oh, and vodka martinis for $7? I'll be back!
