Granite City Food Brewery - Orland Park

The brunch typically consists of breakfast items. Prime rib is offered, but it is served in intervals and tends to run out quickly, resulting in a wait of 15 to 20 minutes. Most food items are not replenished promptly; they are only restocked after they have been completely depleted, leading to waits of 15 minutes or more. The items I had to wait for included the prime rib, rolls, and potatoes. Since we arrived early at 11:30 a.m., it was puzzling that the dishes weren't being refilled more consistently.

If I could give our server more than five stars, I would.

Thanks to our reservation via OpenTable, we were seated right away. Our server was friendly, but we ended up waiting an hour for our meals. Clearly, there was a problem in the kitchen that should have been addressed sooner. Other tables received their dinners before us, and our waiter offered some vague explanations. Eventually, the manager came by with a small plate of chips, but we felt an appetizer should have been offered much earlier—rather than just a few minutes before our food finally arrived. The manager did take care of our bill, but what we had hoped would be a lovely evening turned into a frustrating experience.

Our server worked very hard but he needs more practice.

I ordered meatloaf and had to send it back twice and the second time it came back ice cold. The waitress acted as if she could careless if I was satisfied. The manager who was great, personally apologize and offered to prepare my food himself. When he brought it back the temperature was perfect but because I had been waiting over an hour and my lunch companion finished their meal I was over the meatloaf and restaurant.
