Scots is a hidden gem with excellent service. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

What a wonderful hotel in a perfect location! The staff was phenomenal, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.

The staff were very polite, the beer was well-kept, and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The menu had excellent options for starters and desserts. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, Martyn.

Food very expensive for what you get, small portions frozen chips.

They do themselves a disservice by having the menu advertise fish served with 'chunky chips ' and 'mushy peas '. In reality it is a meagre portion of frozen steak cut chips and a dessertspoon of smashed up garden peas. I was expecting some nice, hand cut proper spud chips, and real mushy peas are are a world apart from smashed garden peas. I 've had better in Wetherspoon 's for £8 including a drink!
