Backaskaill - Orkney Islands

I had an amazing weekend at Backaskaill with my friends, family, and dogs!

The kitchen is well-equipped, the sitting area on the first floor is pleasant, and the bedrooms were just perfect.

Everyone had a wonderful time, and we're eagerly anticipating our next visit!

During our week-long stay at Sanday, we dined at this restaurant twice. The food was outstanding; the steaks were cooked to perfection and virtually melted in our mouths. Be sure to try them with the house-made bread. Jane, our server, was absolutely wonderful—she was friendly and engaging. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Sanday.

The host at Backaskaill Restaurant was fantastic, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place. I definitely want to return to try the “b” dishes!
