Brothers Public Kitchen - Orinda

It is in a alley within the small square. So the environment is awesome and the air is refreshing sitting outside. No car zipping by like other regular outdoor dinning . The day we are there (Friday), there was a music performance at a near-by resturant, we could hear it from our outside dinning table, yet not too loud. The food is great. We like the pizza bread and the pizza the best. Also the calamari is pretty unique. I think it is mix with lemon sauce and basil.

Came here for a birthday dinner and haven 't stopped raving about their incredible grilled Caesar salad to anyone who will listen. It 's literally the best I 've ever had and the dressing has that smoky flavor that we 'd call wok hei in some parts of Asia. So good. My photo upload for that isn 't working but earlier reviewers have it right: this is a salad not to be missed. That incredible flavor somewhat overshadowed the other food, which was also good I loved the pappardelle in particular. Fresh pasta always wins in my book. Oh and cocktails! They were up to par and I definitely recommend the Attitude Adjustment. I 'd love to come back for the pizzas that looked really good!

Loved this place. The food (pizza especially) was great. The service was wonderful. Jason (one of the two brothers who own the place) was a class act. He honored my wife's gift certificate that was originally issued by the now-defunct restaurant that previously held the space now occupied by BPK. We had a great experience, we'll be back.

It was nice to try this place as they replaced the former pizza joint, as they had a busy outside scene when I came past the theater place.
