Bounty Fish and Chips - Orillia

Excellent fishing chips. family-run, friendly service. we ordered the takeoff on the phone and the order was finished in time. we ordered the squid and the healed. both were crisp, tasty and not oily. we will definitely be eating again or ordering out.

The batter is so light! Not heavy or greasy in any way. Fries were done perfectly. Coleslaw was good also. Will be back for sure.

This restaurant in Orillia serves the best fish and chips. The specials are generous portions that will satisfy any appetite and are served well. The waitress is prompt and friendly, making for a great dining experience. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Looked like there were only a few cars in front but surprised when we went it - it was full! The fish was wonderful (halibut and cod) with a light batter (not greasy one bit) and the fries were bountiful and good quality. The coleslaw was homemade and tasty. The pop is offered in cans along with a glass so there is no dilute syrup/water mix. Service was fast and friendly.

By far the best fish & chips in town - other local fish spots seem to be going downhill FAST. This place is small but offers easy parking and great comfy seating. Great attentive service and delicious fish & chips. The batter isn't thick like some places - very crispy and you get good value for your money. The chips are always cooked to perfection. Unlike other fish spots in town you can eat here and not leave smelling like you were dipped in the deep fryer. Lunch special and senior specials are great bonuses - but regular pricing still beats all the other local options! I recommend to everyone!
