Pizzaria Mario - Orgiva

Over-priced and mediocre service. Tries hard but fails to meet the needs of locals. A tourist trap really that exploits its location locally.

We ate here on our arrival in Orgiva, after a long day travelling and desperate for food and a beer! This place is set on a very nice square where all the local kids play in the evenings so it has a lovely Spanish vibe and atmosphere. The waitress took a shine to our little boy which was very sweet and made us feel extremely welcome. The food was also great, pizzas and salad were top class. Unfortunately, we never made it back for a second visit but next time we will make sure we do...

We visited this place in August 2017 for a meal and came back this year when we stayed in Orgiva June 2018, this place can be found by the local Police station with seating outside. Everytime we visited and we did more than once we were not rushed which was great, food was excellent espeically the Pork Steak in green peppercorn sauce and pizzas. Very reasonably priced and also a English menu which is a bonus. Staff were very good and friendly. Would we go back again yes we would.

I just read a lot of negative opinions. I don't understand. we have been going to orgiva for 9 years and after trying many restaurants, this one is really the best, whether for reception or for meals. behind a pc is very easy to leave a restaurant, a small signed mentality: always French more betting but auvergne !!!!

The attention is excellent and the food of the best of the village. I recommend the pizza alpujarreña
