Golden Hills - ORDERVILLE

This is a classic, unpretentious diner with a cozy atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and they have excellent pie.

I also ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup, which turned out to be microwaved and consisted of whole linguine in a broth that seemed to be made from bouillon. It had only three little squares of carrot, four peas, and two tiny slices of celery—no chicken to be found, which likely explains the use of bouillon. I was very disappointed. Since it was all takeout, we couldn’t return anything, but by the time we realized how bad it was, we were already an hour down the road.

Save your time, money, and appetite—don't go to this restaurant! It was nearly empty (only two tables occupied), yet it took 40 minutes to receive our food: frozen fries, a tuna sandwich, and a questionable chicken "cordon bleu." The waitress was decent with us, but she seemed quite rude to other customers. Our total bill came to $35 for two, and we ended up having to throw away the food.

The lady that was there acted like we were an inconvenience as soon as we walked in, food was meh at best and service might have well been self serve. Won't go back again.
