Green Gables - Orchard

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a pleasant Sunday drive, where you can indulge in delicious, wholesome food. What truly captivated me was the inviting atmosphere as soon as we entered. If you're coming from the city, it's definitely a special experience!

A college friend and I cycled 28 miles to Ashfall Fossil Beds. We were exhausted but decided to push on for another four miles to reach this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. All the aches and thirst we felt disappeared as soon as we stepped inside. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and excellent. They had a fantastic selection of homemade pies, fresh out of the oven that day, with more options than I've ever encountered in one place. If only I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often!

You won't regret visiting Green Gables. I've been there multiple times, and the food is amazing. The wide selection of pies is exceptional, all made in-house. My wife and I last visited in June 2009, and she particularly liked the gift shop on the upper floor.

They had a selection of homemade cakes that were freshly baked that day, offering more options than I've ever seen in any restaurant. If only I lived closer, I would definitely make this place a regular stop!
