Orcas Island is a beautiful, relaxing place to recharge, but if you are looking for a place to have dinner in the week, you will not have a great choice. Most restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but many of them are only open for 4 days. I was with Google to eat tonight and found the Orcas Hotel Cafe. This is their informal, casual food and you order your food at the counter, find a seat and then bring your food out. It is located directly on the ferry, so it is very easy to find and the view there was great!! The main dining area had a package that offered food and jazz music for $68 tonight, but we chose the casual dining option. My companions had fish and chips and the order was great enough to share.

We had lunch here before we had the ferry on board, ordered Fish Chips and Grilled Cheese. Both were very good and I would recommend for a delicious meal. They have some cool outdoor seating, but it's not enough for everyone. With health restrictions at the moment there is no indoor kitchen.
