The seating area is small but clean and well appointed with Asian continents and cutlery. Several people were placing to-go orders and the phone was ringing with lunch orders. I was torn between chicken pad thai, chicken vermicelli or the special, chicken satay with mango and vermicelli. The staff recommended the satay. In one word, DELICIOUS!!!! I am putting this in my phone as a drive by favourite. I cant wait to bring my husband when we are on the 400. It's worth the effort to get here!
We have eaten here on a few occasions. Never found it great but always found it passable. There was a male there this time and his service was friendlier, helpful and timelier than we have found in the past. Would agree with others that say it is not true Thai.
I judge on three items and in this order, food quality/customer service/price. They excel in all three categories. Orangeville is very fortunate to have them locally. This is a business that will continue to enjoy a long tenure in the community.
This place used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Orangeville but they've really gone downhill over the years. I ordered their spring rolls and the rice paper was hard. Their portions are so much smaller than they used to be yet they've jacked up the prices. They have started to really cut corners. I think that the only reason people still go here is because it's a small town and there aren't many viet-Thai restaurants. It's clear that this restaurant would not have customers if it was in a bigger city.
Since the first Thai restaurant was recommended but closed, we decided to go to south88. Was fantastic menu, prices and service. Would definitely go back anytime. Loved all the food. Great job:
