A&W Restaurant - Orangeville

A&W’s hamburgers are probably the best of the large chains. Their onion rings are THE BEST I’ve ever had anywhere. Mainly due because they’re breaded instead of being battered. I’d give a higher rating but the Orangeville location closest to me hasn’t always been the cleanest compared to other locations.

Food was as expected. However the drive thru , which was not busy at all had an attendant in need of customer service training. While not rude, she was not paying attention, practically tossed things at us rather than patiently handing them over. She forgot items and when we came back inside to politely get the missing item she once again threw the items. It takes seconds to show attentive behaviour that goes a long way towards the customer experience. I want to be clear that we were the only clusters, inside or out at this time.

Horrible experience! Our breakfast was covered in grease as if someone literally poured grease in the bags. Food was not edible at all. Never once has this ever happened, we weren’t even rude to the lady taking our order. Customer service was horrible.

You would expect that when going through the drive thru that if they ask you to park and wait that the food they bring you is being freshly made and will arrive at your car hot. Nope. Lukewarm at best. Every item. Very disappointed with this location.

Spicy Chicken burger was superior, fresh and tasty! Fries were even got and fresh. Thank you for hot meal!
