Dairy O - Orangeburg

The takeout was well-packaged, complete with a tray of fries. The restaurant is always bustling with customers. The burger was quite delicious. I'm really looking forward to trying the strawberry shortcake sundae!

I really enjoy the variety of dishes offered at this restaurant, especially their unique specialties. One standout item is their Curly Burger, which features Pimento Cheese, and the Slav Dogs, a hot dog topped with Cole Slaw. The prices for the food are quite reasonable, and the staff is friendly. They also offer a selection of different desserts, and you absolutely have to try the Hot Fudge Cake! It's a delicious chocolate cake split in half with a square of vanilla ice cream in between, all topped with hot fudge and whipped cream. Yum! Sometimes, I prefer dining here over larger national chains because I love supporting local restaurants. Just a heads up, there can be a wait depending on the day and time you visit, as it's a popular spot, but it's worth being patient!

The wait was lengthy, but I can assure you it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon, along with a side of fries and some shrimp. I only managed to eat half of the burger because it was so filling, but it was incredibly delicious. It was definitely worth the trip from my hometown.

You can't go wrong with the strawberry sun with wet walnuts.

This place is always the a staple when I visit my hometown of Orangeburg, SC! We got a gizzards dinner with fried okra slaw, and fries, a few hotdogs, 3 sundaes, and a burger and fries--and spent a little over 40 bucks! The line was wrapped around the building, since it was lunch hour, but the wait was reasonable! The customer service was very accommodating, especially since my mom added items at the window! This place is truly a gem!
