Kate Jones at One Nineteen - Orange

From the moment you step in the restaurant it is not the most aesthetically pleasing. For a reasonably new restaurant the decor is poor.Service was quite good and fast although food very bland. Ordered the salmon which just looked like it was slapped on the plate and was very flavourless. Everyone was finished eating and plates weren't cleared until we were ready to leave the restaurant. All I kept seeing were staff standing behind the counter and not checking back on tables. We all easily could have enjoyed another drink but no one came back to check on us or offer anything else.

I went to lunch with a group of friends and was looking forward to a delicious meal. Unfortunately we thought the food was ordinary. However, the staff were friendly, the service & ambiance good.

We went for lunch, the place is out of the way but worth finding, easy parking which was the attraction for me as I took my elderly mum. Good selection of food, I had the veggie salad which was very nice and also got to taste mums battered flat head which was also good. Service was excellent (from the owner), meals didn't take too long and they where reasonably busy. Fully licensed which is a bonus. We will be back.

We visited as part of a group of 12 and were very happy with the food and service. The restaurant has a great vibe and the best part is there is plenty of room between tables so you don't feel crowded in.

Dinner at One Nineteen - Delicious fresh food. Perfect steaks cooked to our tastes. Seasonal vegetables. Roast potato stack with marjoram a great accompaniment. Friendly staff. Great service. All round lovely night out. Will be back soon.
