I could cut the filet with a fork. Great food and our server, Maria, was great. Everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

We have loved Gilbey’s for years so we took a group of 7 Friday night. First the reservation I made on Open Table was challenged by host and we were only seated when I showed confirmation on my phone. Then manager then came over and told us we had been seated at the wrong table! The service was horrible. Waiter was rude and inattentive and his hands did not appear clean. . Fish was fine but NY Strip was tough. Restaurant was not crowded but took 50 minutes to get food. Very disappointed and embarrassed to have guests.

Service was great, no wait, and the Shrimp Scampi was awesome! My husband said his filet was ok. Overall, it was a really good experience.

I chose this restaurant because it was close and the ratings on the internet were positive. We had a reservation but when we got there it was basically empty. Decore and ambiance were average, nothing special. Our server was nice and somewhat attentive, given there was nobody else in her section. I ordered a ribeye, baked potato and broccoli and my wife had the filet, baked potato and rice. My ribeye was thin and tough but cooked medium as I ordered. My wife said her filet was good, and like mine, the sides were on the bland side and semi warm. The price for the meal was more than it was worth and honestly was not what I expected. Long story short, we will probably not go here again and will go to McGuires in Pensacola or Big Mike's in Orange Beach.
