Yogi's Teriyaki - Orange

I usually visit the Yogi's location in Tustin, which is fantastic! However, for some reason, Grubhub was delivering from the orange location, even though I am in Tustin. I ordered the Yogi's teriyaki beef plate, which is my go-to meal. Normally, it comes with salad and orange slices, but this time it came with unpleasant coleslaw and watermelon chunks. The quality of the meat was also much lower than at the Tustin location. Since it was a delivery, I had no way of knowing until it arrived. Additionally, the portion size was significantly smaller than what I am used to in Tustin. Normally, I can only eat half and save some for later, but this time the portion was so small that I only got a few bites of meat. It was more like a small beef bowl than a plate. I recommend going to the Tustin store instead to avoid these issues.

This restaurant was amazing! It was my first time here and everything, from the food to the customer service, was top-notch. I was a little unsure about what to do with my tray since it had washable dishes, but the employee told me to leave it there. Overall, I would rate this place 10/10, but the OCsushi was even better at 11/10.

After my first visit, I feel this place is similar to that of a Flame Broiler or Waba Grill. A bit more dressed up of a menu, but similar in style and taste. I got the large chicken and beef bowl, which for whatever reason ended up on a plate. In comparison to my coworkers small chicken bowl, I would say we got the same amount of food. The chicken and beef were good, and the rice was actually damn near perfect. I don't normally care for white rice as it comes off dry and flavorless all too often, but the rice at Yogi's was great. The small portion size doesn't fit the bill in my opinion, and I would grade the food, service, and atmosphere similar to a fast food spot. On the other hand, I recognize the restaurant is in a business park with pretty much no other competition as all the other small restaurants in the plaza are currently closed. Had a healthy flow of customers during my dine in visit. Pretty friendly staff, but know what you want to order before stepping up.

The food is always fresh and the service is top notch. I love the rolls and the bowls.
