The Tulsa Rib Company - Orange

On Sunday, I was eager to dine here, but as soon as we walked in, we were informed that they had just sold the last one and were only offering takeout. The sign at the door stated that closing time was 8:30 PM, but Google reported it as 9 PM. We arrived at 7 PM. I have no intention of returning. Food rating: 1/5.

Don’t get me wrong; whatever we ordered was always delicious. So when my son said he wanted to come here last week, I agreed since it had been so long. Upon arriving, I realized I couldn’t remember what my ex and I usually ordered, so I decided to go with my instincts and ordered a burger. Wow. I've eaten my fair share of burgers from various places, but I can confidently say that Tulsa Ribs serves the best burgers I've ever had—better than Five Guys, Islands, Red Robin, or Fat Burger. The flavor was indescribable; it was like heaven on a bun. Usually, I barely take the time to savor my meals, but this burger was so good that I actually enjoyed each bite. I even told my son how much I loved it. My son, who is nine, often comes here with his mom. He usually orders his favorite, boneless beef, and he enjoyed his meal as well. The cornbread was fantastic and the Tulsa fries are truly unique—you can’t find anything like them anywhere else. I will definitely be returning, but just for that burger. I can't stress enough how delicious it was. I ordered it medium, and I wish I had taken a picture to capture the moment. Next time, I promise to snap some photos!

This restaurant is one of those gems that’s easy to overlook. I’ve never seen it crowded, but the food is excellent. They offer a nice variety on the menu and have a selection of beer and wine, as well as soft drinks. Overall, it’s surprisingly much better than some of the more popular BBQ spots in Orange County, so I will definitely be coming back. Food: 5/5

Just don 't.This place used to be an amazing place with great food and great service. Not anymore.Just don 't do it.I ordered steak and shrimp. The rest of family ordered different rib dinners. I couldn 't even eat my dinner. First, I asked for my steak to be rare. Oh I can 't do that, I cook steak on the med rare side but trust me, it 'll be like a rare steak, you won 't know the difference . Ummm yea ok. Dinner comes... My steak looks like a fake steak for a commercial ad. It was more medium-well than medium. The only flavor it had was the burnt taste of charbroiled lines. My shrimp was bacon wrapped, sounds perfect right?.... Burnt bacon and shrimp under cooked. I couldn 't send it back because the last time anyone checked on us was when they brought our dinner. Asked for refills twice, never happened. Mind you, we had to ask for refills from across the room because no one ever came to see how our meal was. I finally took my cup to the center station and said, guess refills only happen when you bring the cup to the soda dispenser .As for rib dinners, meh. A little on the dry side but at least the new owners keep the BBQ sauce the same.Service? What service? I just can 't say anything positive about this place other than, at least the sauce wasn 't a disappointment.Sad to see this place went so far downhill that we 'll never go back. It 's a shame.
