The Tartan Room - Orange

Happy Hour is a cozy restaurant with a small dining area and a nice bar. Open since 1959, we've enjoyed dining here for many years. Every dish is cooked and presented according to your preferences, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. While it caters mainly to adults, there is a separate dining area for older pre-teens and teenagers, allowing families to enjoy a meal together. The menu may be small, but the food and drinks are outstanding. It's an excellent spot for dark, intimate dining.

I really enjoy the music on Fridays and Saturdays; it creates a great atmosphere. The last time we visited, we had king crab legs, steak, lobster, and some delicious bacon-wrapped shrimp! If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it. The food is consistently excellent, and there's also a bar.

Happy Hour is 3-6 for drinks. House wine, beer and drinks. Essen HH was 4-6 with specific menu. We had the shrimps on Avo for like $8 and the Quesadilla for about the same $8. Both were delicious. Dark atmosphere for an older crowd, but we are early to the middle of the 30s and liked it. They set up live music on Wednesday, but we didn't stay.

If you love prime rib, fun entertainment and great service, then the Tartan Room is the place to go! The prime rib is like butter, seasoned well and melts in your mouth. The entertainment is fun and the service is fantastic.

Finally getting around to writing a review. Spent a memorable evening celebrating a milestone birthday. First and foremost, the entertainment was outstanding. Mr. Gavin Braun truly enhanced this special night. What a talent! We will return to the Tartan Room every time when Mr. Braun performs. The atmosphere is perfect. Our dinner was exceptional. The prime rib and filet was delicious. All of the side dishes complimented our entrees. The cocktails were top shelf. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. Thank you for a memorable evening and please let us know when Mr. Braun is performing again.
