Super Antojitos - Orange

The location is fantastic. The outdoor dining space feels like a paradise. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is outstanding. The Carnitas burrito is so delicious that I'll keep coming back for more.

Laura and Jose Luis really know how to serve up delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. Their friendly, welcoming demeanor makes us want to dine there every chance we get. Laura provides some fantastic vegetarian options, particularly the vegetarian Molcajete Bowl, which we love. The restaurant is adorned with wonderful art and decor that adds to the atmosphere. Additionally, the boutique at the back of the building is a nice touch, offering a variety of handmade, authentic gifts and treats. Thank you, Laura and Jose Luis! This restaurant, housed in the old green door cafe building, was a pleasant surprise. we live in the historic quarter old towne orange, but forget that restaurants exist outside the Plaza area. I'm glad we went west and tried this place. it's sweet inside, and on a Friday night was pretty busy with just a few open tables. we looked at the dishes that others eat and felt encouraged. they looked fantastic. our waiter quickly came to the table, and soon after that, the cook (and perhaps owner? laura came to our table to talk about eating and to ask. she is a native, but was trained in a culinary school in jalisco. she knows how she is around a mole (she brought us a rehearsal to try). we have a ranchero molcajete (it is quite large and meant that is hugging and steak cooked with swirling, paprika, ranchero sauce, cheese and avocado. served with tortillas, it is filling (we have some after home and delicious. I like to spice, but that was a bit too spicy for me, so laura sour looked out, which cooled the heat. we have also tried an enchilada with lauras unique maul sauce (she said it combines the traditional chocolate style mol with a sizier version. we enjoyed the slightly smoky, sweet and spicy taste. they have a bar as well as beer and wee. we certainly did not expect this place to be liked. we're coming back!
