Mama's Fried Chicken - Opelousas

I recently ordered a takeout brunch from this restaurant, and it was absolutely delightful! The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The same goes for the service, which was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is equally impressive, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend trying the seafood, Fried Chicken Dinner, and Fried Okra—they were all fantastic! As for parking, there was plenty available, and the free parking lot was a definite plus. Overall, this place is a must-visit for a delicious brunch experience!

I've been savoring Mamma's fried chicken for many years, and I find it far more enjoyable than Canes or Chick-fil-A. Mamma's offers fantastic sides, like rice dressing, that you won’t find at the national chains. Even my kids loved the chicken tenders and Mama's sauce. Since we live in Texas, I don’t get to visit Mamma's as often anymore, but I always make it a point to stop by when I’m visiting family nearby. Service: Dine-in.

The chicken and sides were the greasiest and poorly prepared I've ever experienced. I won't be coming back. Everything was excessively salty.
