Full Moon -b-que - Opelika

A lovely little find in Tiger Town! After enduring long wait times at other places, we chose to come here. We sampled the pork link, ribs, chicken, and smoked turkey, all of which were quite good. The fried okra and mac and cheese were delicious too. If you're craving barbecue and looking to try something different, I highly recommend this spot!

The staff is friendly, and there was no wait at all. As a Texan, I truly appreciate the portion sizes here. My daughter ordered the nachos plate, I had the brisket, and Naben got the burger platter. My 8-year-old said her nachos were "Busin" (whatever that means). My brisket was outstanding—moist and tender. I want to give a shout-out to all the Alabamians who really know how to do this right!

When the potato was first placed on the table, I was unsure whether to eat it or make it my new home! The grill marks were so prominent that you would need a shovel to dig in. It was truly the most incredible potato I've ever encountered. However, if you're planning to order these for your family to-go, I recommend bringing a few hand trucks; these potatoes are enormous! I honestly wondered if I needed to pay extra for the size when they brought them out to grill. These potatoes are so good they might even make you feel like you could challenge your mother!

We had lunch there today and the food was excellent. The portions were significantly larger than what I've experienced at most BBQ places for lunch. Overall, the food was delicious.

Really great collards, cornbread and Chowchow. Chicken was good, wish it had more smoked flavor. My husband had the open face pulled pork sandwich and said it was great. I'll go back.
