We arrived a bit before sunset and were told to stroll around the grounds until they were ready to accept guests. It's a bit too decorated in a touristy way, but don't let it put you off. Inside the walls are lined with old baskets, tools, cooking utensils. Once seated, the food just started coming like waves from the sea that never stop! Incredible antipasti...maybe 6 or 7 of them, then pasta, and finally, the suckling pig! Every single thing was delicious. I would encourage everyone to try it. One negative thing...I never saw anyone except the server/cashier. Even she had little to no interaction with us except to tell us what each dish was as she put it down. No warm welcome or interaction with the owners. Nothing. In that way it felt more like a tourist attraction. I would really suggest they show themselves.
Food was great and service was great. $30 per person, including wine. Scenery was beautiful. Arrive early to enjoy the sunset .
EVERYTHING served from entrees to dessert is utterly delicious--luckily they offer second helpings!! We comeback every year as the porcetto is absolutely to-die-for. Do not leave the island without eating here.
This is heaven. All is dona alla casa! 30€ for the whole dinner including antipasti, primi piatti, main course, dessert, wine, digestive and lovely service. Outrageous!
I recently attended a wedding reception at this restaurant. One of the best meals I had in Sardinia. From starters to dessert, everything was made of fresh local products. The food was simple and tasty. Each dish I sampled was excellent but my favorite was the famous roasted piglet. We also had excellent Sardinian wine and liquors. Service was swift and all hot dishes reached our table still warm. The place is up in the hills and offers a beautiful view of this side of the island. Overall, an excellent meal and a place I'll surely visit again when I go back to Sardinia.
