Contribuiți la feedbackHonestly, this place exceeds my expectations. At first we thought, how good can it be? It's just a restaurant in The All Star Village. Turns out, it was so good. We went back 3 times. This is what we ordered! (Might not be the exact name but this is what I remember) Korean Bulgogi Sandwich this was a very interesting twist on the bulgogi in a good way. The beef was sweet and savory like what bulgogi is supposed to be. The sauce had a nice kick to it which complimented the meat and the bread really well. This is almost like bahn mi and bulgogi combined into a sandwich. It was really good! The portion was larger than I expected. It would be enough to share with 2 people. Po Boy Sandwich the shrimp was quite large, it was crispy on the outside while the inside was still juicy and crunchy. It was well seasoned. I liked that every bite had a shrimp in it. However, I think there were a little too many vegetables in the sandwich. The lettuce and tomatoes were overpowering the shrimp. Burnt Ends Nacho this right here was my favorite! The burnt ends were meaty. It was a good bite size. The fatty part was perfectly cooked and it would just melt in your mouth. The BBQ sauce was sweet, smoky, and tangy. I really like the round tortilla chips. It was easy to eat and scoop up the meat. The cheese sauce was sharp but light. It helped balance the sweetness of the BBQ sauce. The jalapeño and the pickle onion were a nice touch. It added a nice contrast to the flavor, it gave a break from the rich flavor. Everything blended so well together. Besides the beautiful view of all the fields and the forest in the background. The food here is really good. You don't need to drive to the next town to find food. This place has everything you need!
We ate at this restaurant while our grandson was on the team. I must say this was the worse food I ever ate. we were 4 adults 2 children. the kids ate wings 1 adult ordered PoBoy hoggie ! adult ordered chicken ceaser salad, another ordered tunas bowl salad and last person was a ruben which was 1 slice of roast beef. I never knew ruben was roast beef 2 beers and 1 glass of wine the other 4 had water. we were not given any napkins or utensils . I would never suggest that place.
Had lunch here when watching our grandson play in a tournament. His games were spaced so close we didn't have time to leave and eat anywhere other than the All Star Tavern. So we got a table on the porch overlooking the 11 ballparks. While the view and atmosphere is amazing, the food left us as empty as our wallets! Two appetizers, small Mac and Cheese, two burgers, 4 beers, and 4 mixed drinks set us back well over $200. Our order came via different servers than the waitress and no utensils or napkins were supplied with the food. The nachos with brisket were soggy and the brisket was tough and grizzly. The appetizer described as chips and pico de gallo was a basket of seemingly store bought tortillas and two small containers of similar to Pace salsa (not fresh pico de gallo at all). One of the burgers came to our table practically raw inside and had to be sent back (which took quite a few minutes because the waitress never returned to ask how our meals were). Lousy service considering they weren't particularly busy when we were there. I almost hate giving reviews on Yelp because since Covid-19 had crippled the restaurant industry it seems that the quality of food and service has greatly suffered. Seems like the whole venue of All Star Village is designed to squeeze all it can from families wishing to provide their kids with a dollop of self esteem and a sense of sportsmanship. The $4 bottle of water almost cost the same as a 24 pack case at home when on sale! DON'T EAT HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!
Greasy food, slow paced service, (literally took 30 minutes to get sugar packets), and not really anything positive except it's convenient and has a decent atmosphere. Overall 1/5
The manager, Stephan, went above and beyond to accommodate our large party. Great service!
