Da Vinci's Italian Kitchen - Onancock

Eating pizza at DaVinci is amazing, some of the best you will have in town. My favorite is the portabella mushroom pizza (it's so good.) However, the service leaves something to be desired. It seems like there is a lot of chaos, possibly because the owners do not know how to properly run a restaurant. There should be a dedicated person to take orders and answer the phone, as well as handle the register. If they can't do this, they should hire a host/hostess to manage these tasks. The host/hostess could also assist servers in taking drink orders when they are busy. On the night I visited, it seemed like everyone was confused and trying to do multiple tasks, resulting in customers waiting too long to be served. Additionally, placing an order on the weekends is difficult as they tend to hold onto orders for a long time before preparing them. They also need to update their computer system so servers can enter orders and have them sent directly to the kitchen. This would prevent lost tickets and ensure customers are charged correctly. Lastly, they should consider adding a supreme pizza option to their menu, as the meat lover pizza can be overwhelming with meat. Overall, I enjoy eating at DaVinci and will return, but they definitely need to improve their service to avoid confusion among staff.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in search of authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

I absolutely adore this place. It's my favorite pizza joint in town, and I've never had a bad meal there. The staff are always incredibly friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that I wish they would extend their opening hours. I hope Vinci sticks around for a long time.

Absolutely delish! we had a toskana garnel (to go) and it was amazing. that was my first time and it won't be the last!
