Champs Chicken - Omak

My girl and I held there for our dinner after a day in cedar keys, the shopping center in gainesville and poe springs. sent the children for a few minutes back to their friend so we could go to eat. He's got a big buck and a big buck. has also pizza we went the puffy crust with mushroom and thin crust. thin crust came burned out. then expected longer. pizza was really good. everyone ate it.

We received a flyer in the mail and since we hadn't been there as yet decided to give it a try. It's just a small place in a jiffymart in the middle of no where. It's very clean and neat, the staff is very helpful and eager to help you with your order. We wanted to try their livers and gizzards as the only ones we like are the ones we make, well we'll still be making ours but the effort and thoughtfulness of the lovely waitress goes well beyond the usual! She fried them up fresh for us and was just very kind, we'd like to thank her very much. We will be coming back and trying other items on the menu as this was one of those places that are just very nice and you want to return to.

We stop by at the Champs Chicken restaurant very often when we fill up with gas at the service station attached. Th fried chick is very good some times and over cooked at other times It is hit or miss. I ordered chicken livers yesterday to go and when I got home they were over cooked so hard that they were not eatable. I even pulled the meat out of the hard crust/batter and the meat was very hard and over cooked. I also had some chicken fillets that were over cooked but were eatable. At other times the chicken is cooked just right. I recommend look closely before you order if it looks over cooked it probably is.

As a local, I don't want to give it a bad review but the food is not good. The employees are great and they work with what they have. But the quality of the food Champs uses is poor. They could get better food and more options. Hard, dry, very disappointed.

Traveling through and came upon this place. It is attached to a gas station, at the far end. Their chicken tenders were excellent. Tried their buffalo sauce and it was pretty good, probably between a med and mild. 3 tenders and wedges cost $6.41.
