The Hunger Block - Omaha

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. The location in Rockbrook Village is convenient, as you can easily get on and off the interstate before or after your meal. The restaurant has a stylish urban vibe, which I really liked, but unfortunately, the food was only average. I ordered the plantains and also sampled a few dishes from my friends. While the service we received was excellent, I didn’t find any of the food to be exceptionally good. However, they definitely nailed the chocolate shakes! While it might not be the best choice for dinner, if you're in the mood for an incredibly rich shake, this is the place to be!

The entrees appear to be mostly variations on a similar theme: meat, rice, beans, and/or plantains. There isn't much diversity or creativity in the offerings.

Food was ok, Staff was meh, visually the milkshakes are awesome. The Pork Belly burger was our favorite. The kids cheeseburger is a cheap patty. Overall it's an ok place to go.
