Panera Bread - Omaha

My first review was deleted (big shock) so I am posting it again. My mom I had the absolute worst experience at this location when he went around 5:00 pm a few months ago. First there didn't seem to be anybody but teenagers on duty. Nobody seemed to actually be in charge. All they did was stand around chatting texting instead of helping us. There wasn't a single person inside the restaurant except for us. My mom ordered a bowl I ordered a cold sandwich. It took around 20 minutes to get our food when it did come, both dishes were cold because they decided to make the bowl which should have been hot first which is idiotic. When my mom I complained they gave us attitude due to the fact that the food was taking so long the quality of the food service was so poor we got our money back went elsewhere. The bowl was also a small amount of food for the price. We won't be back to Panera ever again because we have been having issues with the food service over the last few years.

The cinnamon crunch bagel is definitely one of my favorites; the cream cheese is an extra charge, but it's absolutely worth it. I also highly recommend trying their sip club, which offers great value. Additionally, the option to place orders ahead of time is really convenient.

This particular Panera location is, without a doubt, the worst I have ever visited. My mom and I went in for an early dinner when there was only one other table occupied, and it seemed like they had a full staff. My mom ordered one of their bowls, and I ordered a sandwich. We waited nearly 20 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, my mom's bowl was cold because it had been sitting out for about 10 minutes—the hot bowl was prepared before my cold sandwich. It also appeared to be run by a group of teenagers, with no one seeming to be in charge. They were just standing around, chatting and texting, instead of assisting us when we asked for the bowl to be remade. Additionally, the portion sizes were significantly smaller than they used to be, and the staff had poor attitudes. In the end, my mom requested a refund, and we decided to eat elsewhere. I am completely done with Panera, especially this location.

Overall, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered chicken soup, but what I received was essentially just chicken broth with maybe two noodles. My wife's and daughter's sandwich arrived without any chicken in it. They seemed to be out of nearly everything on the menu. We even had to go back to ask for our tomato soup. I was really let down by the whole experience.

The manager on duty was super sweet, I know for a fact he probably did not want to show up to work today (Labor Day) but honestly he was incredibly warm and friendly and it honestly made my day. The service was incredibly quick and my bagel was delicious. Thanks for making my morning!
