Le Quartier Bakery Cafe – Countryside

Today, I discovered Camille's because Le Quartier had moved, and I was looking for a place to grab a bite to eat in Countryside Village. I ordered a three cheese quiche and chocolate mousse. The woman at the counter, whose name I didn’t catch, was fantastic. She had immediate answers to my ingredient questions and was incredibly pleasant. Since I was on the second half of a long walk and wanted to eat something along the way, I couldn't resist stopping to enjoy the quiche. It was absolutely divine—light and rich at the same time, with a flaky and flavorful crust that wasn’t overly salty. Why can’t other high-end bakeries master crusts like this? The chocolate mousse was also delightful—light, chocolaty, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. When I got home, I found their 2022 video and loved learning about Camille and James, and how Camille's came to be. Thank you for creating that video! I’m truly grateful you chose to open Camille’s in Omaha and share your culinary experiences with us. Although I don’t live nearby, I will definitely make it a point to visit frequently to explore everything on the menu.

I can't praise this place enough! As soon as you step in, you're warmly welcomed and feel right at home. The selection of food is fantastic, and without a doubt, the quiche is the best we've ever tasted. Since we're visiting from out of town, I wish I could come here regularly. Thank you for creating such delightful dishes!

Ordered two different types of cookies (peanut butter and snickerdoodle) and some peanut butter truffles. The cookies were rock hard and inedible. The peanut butter truffles had an odd taste.

I love Camille’s the pastries are always delicious and fresh and I love supporting a local small business. Highly recommend both to stop in for a pastry or two or to order full quiches and other yummy treats for your events!

Camille’s Bakery is a charming and welcoming spot perfect for a light lunch or dessert. Recently, my mom, daughter, and I had lunch there on a Monday. My daughter really enjoyed her cheese quesadilla, while my mom loved her quiche. I opted for the Mexican salad, which had fresh, crisp greens and just the right amount of dressing. The Rooibos iced tea was incredibly refreshing as well! We shared a delicious pineapple upside down cake, which was rich and flavorful. A week later, my daughter and I returned for lunch and brought home a small chocolate frosted chocolate cake for my son. It was so delectable that he didn’t let anyone else in the family have a taste—he devoured the whole thing!
