Only the inner is enough ground to visit the facility, perfectly encapsulated from its 1921 opening with mother insert tables and all! eating is standard fat chinese, not to write home, but good enough to come back.
The best of all time!. that's by far the best cantonese food I've ever had. it cannot be beaten!
As in the time to go back. I've been here for almost 50 years. it is the only place that is still open by my childhood. every time I go in, it's like I'm going back in time because it just doesn't change here and it can't. it is a national historical site. enough said about the decor. eating is still very good. can not find better a foo young everywhere. are large. they have nice private stands for groups or couples available. the stairs come steep and difficult for normal people and completely handicap inaccessible. it's just a cash place. it is the oldest restaurant in omaha, so they have to do something right. Everyone should come here at least once.
Helen bottum. they have the best veg.egg foo young. I don't mind.
I've really tried to like this place with all it's history and atmosphere but after a recent visit before a show at the Orpheum I won't be back. The service was horrible and slow. Two servers on a Friday night, before a show.....really. The appetizer arrived cold, the fried rice was flavorless, the Mongolian Beef was in a brown gravy that was odd peculiar. So I guess I will be looking for a new pre show place to dine.
