Farm House Cafe & Bakery - Omaha

In love with the chocolate cake! Had breakfast there too but did I mention the chocolate cake! Ok not sure what else to say but the vanilla ice cream went well with the chocolate cake.

Our family loves this restaurant! We get breakfast here more Sunday's than not. However, as other reviews state - there is ALWAYS a wait and it's super crowded. That's why we choose to get carry out for breakfast. The food is always amazing! There have been a few times that items were missing from our order, but after a phone call and a drive back the problem was solved. This has happened 3 times out of maybe 50. I highly recommend the breakfast scrambles - they come with a huge delish homemade cinnamon roll!!

Once again packed useally means good. For the price and atmosphere Farm House does it right. They have fancy deserts but, the place and food is not to fancy. Just regular, good tasting, affordable food. In and out and full! I was pleasantly surprised.

I DINED IN ON A THURSDAY EVENING. THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE WAS ABOUT 35 DEGREES. RESTAURANT ATMOSPHERE WAS PLAIN AND BORING AND DIMLY LIT, MUCH LIKE THE ELDERLY PATRONS THAT SEEM TO FLOCK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I ORDERED PANCAKES, AS THAT IS THE ONLY FOOD THAT MATTERS. I ORDERED THE 3-STACK AND A SIDE ORDER SINGLE POTATO PANCAKE. THE REGULAR PANCAKES WERE AVERAGE. A DARK GOLDEN BROWN, NOTHING SPECIAL STOOD OUT TO ME. HOWEVER, THEY WERE FAIRLY LARGE AND QUITE FILLING. BUT SO IS GRASS, AND THAT'S FREE. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE POTATO PANCAKE WAS AN ENIGMA. IT WAS THE FIRST POTATO PANCAKE I EVER TRIED, AND MY BRAIN WAS TELLING ME NO AS I WAS EATING IT, BUT MY HEART WAS STRANGELY DRAWN TO THE CONFUSING MIXTURE OF WHAT TASTED LIKE A HASHBROWN PANCAKE. IT WAS ACTUALLY A TEXTURAL DELIGHT, AND THE FLAVOR WAS MORE CONFUSING THAN IT WAS DISPLEASING. I RECOMMEND THE EXPERIENCE. I WAS BROWSING REDDIT ON MY PHONE AS I ATE. I LAUGHED AT A FEW POSTS. 3/5

Great place for a cozy breakfast - the cinnamon rolls are fantastic & I've yet to have a bad meal here. Good coffee. Better strawberry wedding cake than Wheatfields.
