Epoca Cantina - Omaha

The food was good. My wife and I shared chips with salsa/queso/guac, quesadilla and Street Tacos. Service was average, but on the slow side our server was very friendly. The main task was the noise level. The music was extremely loud, it made it difficult, even a conversation. We both wanted to eat quickly and get out of what we did.

I was eating with my family in igloo and wanted to try epoca. I didn't go in so I couldn't get to the inner. the person I spoke to on the phone was helpful. I ordered the house margarita and streettacos. while I enjoyed the margarita, the tacos were in order. I expected more taste from the meat and it was a little dry.

Tacos were just ok. The website promotes happy hour prices, but after we were there for an hour and ordered tacos and margaritas, we were told there were no happy hour prices tonight because there was an event at the CHI Center. We should have been informed of this right away and the website should state that during events they will not have Happy Hour.

Very good food and service was awesome. They even made my kids feel welcome
